We're chuffed to be offering our final ten spaces/stalls at the one-day, pop-up event, '#TransActing: A Market of Values', on the Rootstein Hopkins Parade Ground across from Tate Britain SW1P 4JU on 11th July 2015, 12 - 5pm.
This is a market with a difference: stalls providing goods and services for sale will be nestled between others featuring different transactions: skillshares, organ donation, mending and repairs, permaculture and experimental cuisine, craft and construction demos, a speakers' corner. We're even developing a bespoke currency to be used alongside cash and other forms of payment.
The stalls at this bustling pop-up market will be run by innovators, artists, designers, civil-society groups, academics, ecologists and activists and hosted in specially-made structures built by the creative collaboration Critical Practice (Chelsea College of Arts), art/architects public works (Hackney Wick) and others.
The Market aims to explore 'value' and to celebrate the experience of collectively producing worth in different ways. The stalls, from a pinhole photography booth to one buying tears, will be interspersed with other spaces of assembly and exchange, including a chill-out BBQ lounge and other food and drink kiosks.
Dogs and families are welcome at this free event.
