Situated in the creative, cultured and fashionably hip London borough of Hackney, 229 Victoria Park Road is well positioned in the heart of Victoria Park Village, E9, amongst boutique shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants, next to the beautiful oasis of Victoria Park.
The space is available to hire as an entire space outside of its regular function as an art gallery. There is availability on average of 2-3 weeks between exhibitions and extended availability during July/August and January/February. During exhibition times, the space may be available evenings or anytime Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays. There is also display case/shelf space available.
The space may be hired for a variety of uses including sample sales, trunk shows, fashion showrooms, book launch/signings, product launches, small workshops (1 - 12 people), pop-up shops, private promotions, private or corporate parties (up to 30 people, includes use of 35 foot garden), photo shoots, castings, filming, screenings and other creative events. The display case/shelf space is available to rent for sale of artist editions and multiples (subject to approval of The Residence Gallery) (£10 rent + 10% of turnover to cover staffing and card machine cost). The space is not available to hire for art exhibitions as this conflicts with its regular curatorial programme.
