We are looking for a kitchen resident to look after the evening food service, but providing a lunch time offering could also be an option.
WHO WE ARE
We are a brand new neighbourhood bar, specialising in craft beer, cocktails & wine with an extensive spirit selection. We're located on Well Street in Homerton, an exciting corner of Hackney to watch this year, with many new additions to the neighbourhood.
We currently accommodate around 35 covers, but there is space for more tables and chairs.
The food prep area is small and there is no industrial extraction, so we can't have fried food or anything that requires much ventilation.
The deal we offer at our other venue for kitchen residents is that we take 20% of gross turnover, rather than a set amount of rent. This seems to be the going rate and works well at our other site.
We are currently only open in the evenings, but plan to also open in the day. We have large floor to ceiling windows which open the whole way, so in the spiring/summer, the venue will be completely open, with tables on the pavement also. We have plug points all around the bar, so it's perfect for people to work on laptops during the day, as well as there being lots of space for push-chairs.
