Two years ago we left our long careers in the business consulting industry and started up Generous Spaces - a social enterprise initiative aimed at supporting young, ambitious individuals using a shared economic model. Our journey started by redeveloping a dilapidated building on Harrow Road into a modern, versatile space with the idea that starts ups, small businesses and members of the community could benefit from hiring the WORK/SHOP.
*Our profits go toward improving the space and toward community initiatives and educational workshops.
We are situated on the vibrant Harrow Road High Street coined by Londoners as 'Maida Hill' with its local colourful shops, fruit & veg markets, supermarkets and useful amenities.
It benefits from being in the middle of Maida Vale, Westbourne Grove, Notting Hill, Kensal Rise, Queen's Park and Bayswater/Paddington - with brilliant transport links to all of London and also has a great footfall.
The Generous Spaces WORK/SHOP is 350 sq feet, bright and modern with industrial chic accents. Access to the GS WORK/SHOP is on ground/street level via a shared front door (the whole building is run by GS) but the space has it's own door immediately as you enter - making it both secure and accessible. A display black board can be used to advertise on the street.
The space can be used for pop up shop/retail space, gallery exhibits, photo shoots, product displays, meeting room, work space, hobby & craft workshops, fitness/PT sessions and small events.
