General Information
OPPORTUNITY
A semi enclosed shop space on Brighton beach that has views of Brighton Pier and the English Channel. This is an old seafront arch that has been converted to a bike hire business and beach shop.
This is a unique space that gives any retailer or pop-up direct access to the crowds of festive beach goers. Unfortunately food and drink options are not allowed under the terms of my lease.
The space is available from the beginning of November until the end of February and potentially the first week of March. There may be some opportunity to space share in the summer months, depending on the nature of the businesses.
THE SPACE
The space has a roof and the front of the shop has three electric shutters that allow to you to have as much or as little natural air and light as you desire.
There are movable storm boards that can also be used to give some security and separation to passers by. The space is quite rustic but things like heating and extra lighting can easily be brought in.
The space has white walls and ceiling and a grey floor, it is definitely quite unique and needs to be seen to see what it is all about.
There are some shop fittings attached to the walls. There are some difficulties in the worst of weather as it is right on the beach front, five foot from the pebbles but when the sun is shining you can't beat it.
CURRENT USE
The space is currently being used as a bike rental business.
